My name is Neila Ramsingh

My name is Neila Ramsingh and I have been a member of Cambridge Toastmasters since October 2023.

Last week I got the opportunity to participate in a few workshops during the District 86 conference.

Being an activator for Toastmasters workshops has been an incredibly enriching experience for me.

I will share the highlights of my journey and the valuable lessons I've learned along the way.

From the moment I took on the role of an activator, I knew I was stepping into a world of growth and opportunity.

One of the most rewarding aspects of being an activator was witnessing the transformation that took place within participants. From the initial nervousness to the confidence that radiated from them by the end of the workshop, it was truly inspiring to see individuals embrace their potential and overcome their fears.

I went from participating as an activator and then to the authors’ corner.

As an author of the book “Unleash: Discover Your True Desire And Become The Happiness Person You Know”.

During this workshop, I share many lessons I have learned about writing and publishing a book.

"Toastmasters Authors Corner" is a gathering of literary enthusiasts within Toastmasters International. In this corner, members come together to discuss literature, share writing tips, and provide feedback and lessons learned during the journey of writing and publishing their books.

To top off the week we celebrated with District 86 Conference Gala. Now this is an experience I will never forget. Toastmasters members from all over Ontario attended this Gala.

Many distinguished members share their messages and encourage everyone who is a member of Toastmasters to follow their dreams.

In conclusion, my experience as a Toastmasters workshop activator has been nothing short of transformative. It has allowed me to not only empower others but also to grow personally and professionally. As I continue this journey, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be part of such a dynamic and supportive community. Here's to many more workshops filled with growth, learning, and connection!

Come and join us at Cambridge Toastmasters.
