Membership Information

As a member of Cambridge Toastmasters, you will become part of Toastmasters International. Toastmasters International consists of over 270,000 members in over 14,200 clubs world wide and growing each day! As a member of Toastmasters you will be able to speak and participate at any of the clubs and will be proud to call Cambridge Toastmasters your 'home'.

Once you join you will be given access to our members website where you will be able to setup your profile and start scheduling meeting roles to begin your journey.

A Supportive Environment

After joining, a member of the Cambridge Toastmasters executive team will walk you through our orientation process. From there, the Vice President of Education will work with you to establish a mentor relationship. Your mentor will assist you to continue your educational journey.

You will also find that every one at the club is very happy to help. Remember we all joined for the same reasons as you. Nobody expects perfection. Even seasoned speakers stumble from time to time and what better place to stumble than in a fun and supportive environment such as Toastmasters.

Speaking assignments consists of meeting roles and prepared speeches. Meeting roles range from 30 seconds to a few minutes. Prepared speeches are usually 5 to 7 minutes.

To learn more about the club, please feel free to attend a meeting as a guest. Guest are always welcome!

(1) TI Dues: Dues every Toastmaster club must pay to Toastmasters International. 

(2) CTM Dues: Cambridge Toastmasters collect dues for room rental and meeting supplies (ribbons, forms, trophies, etc.)

(3) New Member Kit: Your Toastmasters International New member kit has everything to get you started. The kit includes one Education Pathway. See The New Member for more details.

(4) The above posted fees are subject to a 5% annual increase starting each September. Renewal fees are payable in March (for April) and September (for October) for a 6 month term.
